Gravis Planning is a market-leading town planning and engagement consultancy throughout the UK and Ireland.
Gravis Planning approached Azimap to discuss the opportunities surrounding the analysis of address based data in order to improve employee efficiencies and eliminate the risk of human error during street address surveys.
Following discussions and understanding the immediate and future requirements the Azimap team recommended purchasing pointer data from the Land & Property Services (LPS) and then importing it into Azimap to digitise and analyse according their project requirements.
Pointer data is maintained by local councils and Royal Mail and ensures the data analysed is update to data and accurate. Purchasing the LPS data eliminated the need for a manual data capture exercise and removed the potential for human error which then creates inaccurate reports.
By purchasing the Pointer Data, it offered Gravis Planning with the following key benefits –
In addition to the above by importing the LLPs data into Azimap, the data analysis team can quickly digitise and analyse the planning impact from a designated point in meters / miles / kilometres etc and create planning reports in the knowledge that the information is accurate.
We’re delighted to welcome Gravis Planning into the Azimap community.
